Encourage job growth on Elmhurst Dairy site

The City will work with the private owner(s) of the Elmhurst Dairy site to encourage the growth of job-creating uses in Jamaica. This site is potentially well-suited for large-scale commercial and industrial redevelopment due to its size, strategic location, and transportation access. The City is committed to increasing economic opportunity in sectors such as the green economy and creative tech and will work with interested parties to bring these and/or other suitable uses to the site.

To facilitate this development, the City will not pursue siting an industrial City facility on the Elmhurst Dairy site for the next 8 years.
