SCA & NYCPS Division of School Facilities has $30,000,000 budgeted for 2027 for improvements and upgrades for playgrounds, gyms, bathrooms, auditoriums, libraries, and other support facilities for J.H.S. 8, P.S. 48, BENJAMIN FRANKLIN HS FOR FINANCE AND INFORMATION TECH, P.S. 182, P.S. 35, P.S. 48, P.S. 116, & EAGLE ACADEMY.

The City commits to providing $30 million for the SCA to leverage for capital improvements to schools within the Community School Districts that serve the Jamaica Neighborhood Plan Area, if the projects are determined to be capitally eligible pursuant to the City Comptroller’s directive 10. These investments in renovations will contribute to the success of schools and benefit staff and students.
