With the 159th Street Underpass now nearing construction completion, it provided the template that will be repeated for the Union Hall Street Underpass.

York College will create an updated pedestrian walkway for the campus’ additional Archer Avenue Archway, at Union Hall Street. This will provide dedicated pedestrian-only access to the Academic Core Building from Archer Avenue, a more efficient route than entering from Guy R. Brewer Boulevard. The improvements will include new lighting, seating, pavers, and sculptural elements that enhance user experience and make for a more inviting access point.
