The Law Department is investigating whether the parcels that make up the triangle are City-owned. After which, the City will determine next steps.

Bounded by Brinkerhoff Avenue, Fonda Avenue, and Mayville Street is a triangle of vacant land. Currently classified as street space in the official New York City map, the City will conduct a title search to determine the ownership of the triangle. Pending the results of the title search, the City may pursue a land use action so that the triangle space can be improved and maintained as a future open space amenity.
