Statement from Source Document / POA
Captain Tilly Park, a 9-acre park with the Goose Pond at the center, is an important cultural gathering space and nature respite for many residents who live nearby. However, many of the pathways in this beloved park are in disrepair. NYC Parks will reconstruct over 15,000 square feet of interior park pathways that Jamaica residents use for strolls, gatherings, and quiet contemplation. This work will complement the restoration of the Goose Pond, currently in procurement.
Funding: $8.8 million
