Archie Spigner Park, spanning more than 10 acres and packed with amenities and the sprawling Musician’s Oval, is a well-loved park named after the former Councilman and community leader that is in need of improvements. At the Council Member’s request, in recent years NYC Parks spruced up the ballfields with in-house resources and intends to complete another spruce up during the 2026 ballfield season. Additionally, this past summer NYC Parks completed repairs and applied new sports coating to the park’s four pickleball courts. To help Archie Spigner Park upgrade and serve current and future residents, NYC Parks will make further improvements to this park. Improvements are expected in four areas:
