Install a Bike Boulevard on 160th Street

NYC DOT will install a Calm Corridor redesign on 160th Street and Dillon Street from 90th Avenue to Linden Boulevard, connecting Downtown Jamaica to Archer Avenue, York College, South Jamaica Houses, and Jamaica Playground. The design features a shared pedestrian and southbound cycling path between Archer Ave south of the LIRR underpass and Liberty Ave and a southbound contraflow bike lane between Liberty Ave and Tuskegee Airmen Way. Northbound bike lanes are provided between Brinkerhoff Avenue and Tuskegee Airmen Way. Painted curb extensions are included at select locations along the corridor including 90 Ave, York College mid-block crossing, Liberty Ave, and 107 – 109 Avenues.
