Conduct a Comprehensive Neighborhood Transportation Planning Analysis

To better understand transportation related priorities across different modes and users in the Jamaica neighborhood(s), NYC DOT will build on current planning efforts, engaging with communities to develop an implementation plan that will outline proposed phasing for near and long-term street improvement projects focusing on the Jamaica and South Jamaica neighborhoods. The implementation plan will include a comprehensive list of proposed improvements that benefit all modes and will help create safer and more comfortable connections to and within these neighborhoods. NYC DOT will work closely with community members to develop the implementation plan and will share updates through a combination of public outreach events and presentations.
