Redevelop South Jamaica Multi-Service Center for housing and a new community center

HPD and HRA/DSS will redevelop the South Jamaica Multi-Service Center at 114-02 Guy R Brewer Blvd with a new community center and residential space. New development would include replacement of the 28,000 square foot multi-service center and could include up to 250 affordable homes. Prior to releasing a Request for Proposals for the site, HPD will engage with the existing tenants of the Multi-Service Center and the surrounding community to establish goals for the future redevelopment.

Funding: Approximately $16 million for community center component
